Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (aka Solution-Focused Therapy, aka SBFT) is a therapeutic approach that emphasizes strengths and goals rather than pathologies and problems.

Created in the 1980s, SFBT was a response to insurance companies shortening the length of therapy they would cover. As its name suggests, it's designed to be a brief therapy, and even though it's kind of lacking on its own (how much could you really get done in three sessions?), certain elements of SFBT are extremely helpful.
