Sehrish holds a Masters in Counselling from the University of Calgary and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. She is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

With over three years of clinical experience, Sehrish has supported and facilitated clients in overcoming their mental health and existential struggles. She uses evidence-based therapeutic interventions like CBT, DBT, EMDR, EFT, Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to enhance clients’ awareness, resilience, and performance in all areas of life.

Sehrish has a profoundly empathetic approach towards her clients, and dedicates herself wholeheartedly to understanding her clients’ perspective and experience. She believes that the therapeutic relationship can help foster clients’ autonomy, enhancing their own capacity to evolve, change, and self-actualize. She also takes a strength-based approach to psychotherapy, and believes that adversity has the capacity to transform clients emotionally, cognitively and intellectually, ultimately helping them to become more aware of their strengths and capacity.

Sehrish lives in Waterloo with her husband and two children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching movies, and having creative discussions with her kids.
